The CED Centre is founded on the principles of respect for human rights and freedoms, equal opportunities and encouragement of diversity and plurality in society and polity. If Albania is to achieve its development and democratic goals, Human Rights should be central to the public policy processes and society at large. Henceforth, the CED Centre is committed to policy analysis, research and advocacy in the area of human rights, social inclusion and citizens’ participation in the public sphere and decision-making in Albania. The specific areas in this cluster include: national and international legislation on human rights; the rights of the Child; marginalised children and youth; various forms of discrimination, social exclusion and social justice; gender issues; international organizations and human rights.
